Rajan Anandan

Managing Director, Microsoft Corporation India Pvt. Ltd.

 

Rajan AnandanRajan Anandan joined Microsoft Corporation India Pvt. Ltd in September 2008. As the head of the Sales & Marketing operations for Microsoft India, Anandan's responsibilities include growing the sales and marketing operations, driving strategic partnerships and alliances with global platform partners, channel partners, international and local OEMs services, telecommunications industries and the system builder community.
 
Rajan comes to Microsoft with 16 years of work experience in renowned companies. Prior to joining Microsoft India, Anandan worked with Dell India as the Vice-President and General Manager for Dell India and was instrumental in Dell India growing from $250 million to over $800 million in revenues. Before leading the India subsidiary for Dell, Anandan held various global leadership roles across Dell International Services including a stint as the Executive Assistant to Michael Dell, Chairman, Dell Computers.
 
Anandan started his career with Mckinsey & Co., where he held several leadership positions including leading the Firm's Growth Practice from 1996-2002.
 
A mechanical engineer and an alumnus of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Anandan also holds a Master's degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Stanford University. Rajan lives in Delhi, India.

 
 

Conleth O'Connell

Chief Technology Officer, Vignette


Conleth O'ConnellConleth O'Connell, Ph. D. is chief technology officer at Vignette Corporation. Dr. O'Connell is responsible for driving new technology and innovation within the company.
 
Dr. O'Connell joined Vignette in 1996 as one of the company's first engineers and helped develop Vignette's initial product offering. Prior to becoming CTO, Dr. O'Connell held multiple engineering and architect roles and influenced the company's support for open standards by participating in various standards committees including W3C (World Wide Web Consortium), OASIS, and OpenAJAX.
 
Dr. O'Connell joined Vignette from HaL Computer Systems where he led product development efforts and participated in the Davenport Group, a consortium that created an SGML distribution format for online documents called the DocBook DTD.
 
Prior to that, Dr. O'Connell spent time as director of an Industrial Consortium, where he supervised graduate students who produced an integrated software architecture and later co-authored a book on the architectural design of the project.
 
Dr. O'Connell was recently honored as a Distinguished Alumni by Ohio State University where he holds a master's degree and Ph. D in computer information systems. Dr. O'Connell holds several patents for innovation in content management and delivery performance. Dr. O'Connell lives in Austin, Texas.

 
 

Klaus Schottenhamel

President and CEO of B4 Consulting

 

Klaus SchottenhamelKlaus Schottenhamel is president and CEO of B4 Consulting, Inc., a Sumisho Computer Systems company and part of the Sumitomo Group. B4 Consulting is distinguished as an SAP gold-level partner delivering business management, implementation, and support services for SAP solutions worldwide. An SAP consulting and business technology veteran, Klaus has domain expertise in building SAP systems integration consultancies globally. Prior to B4 Consulting, he was president and CEO of IMG Americas, a company of S&T. At IMG Americas, he directed a successful management buyout from S&T resulting in the establishment of B4 Consulting.
 
Previously, he was president and CEO of SAP SI America, Inc., the systems integration division of SAP AG. At SAP SI America, Klaus led a successful US expansion that averaged a 40 percent annual revenue growth rate during his tenure. Earlier in his career, he worked with PLAUT AG, an international SAP integration consultancy. A key member of PLAUT's executive board, Klaus was responsible for launching several PLAUT international business units, including a joint venture with Deloitte/PLAUT in South Africa, PLAUT UK, and PLAUT Consulting Inc. USA.
 
Klaus also served as a member of the SAP National Partner Advisory Council and in executive management positions with other consulting and technology companies including Inforte, living systems, inc., and ConnectUS, LLC. Klaus earned his undergraduate degree in finance and MBA from the College of Pforzheim (Germany), and resides in the Greater Boston area, Massachusetts.
